(He actually kinda needs to, so he can comfortably wear insoles in his sandals) Unless you have a medical need to wear socks and sandals (like my husband, who still won't do it) there's really no need to. Is it cold? Wear shoes. Is it hot? Wear sandals. It's pretty straightforward! :) My husband is from Europe and refuses to wear socks with sandals, so it’s probably not just a US thing.
