I really do not want to sound like an *** hole, but I walmart women wear clothes and shoes at Walmart, and a “false” Louie Bag vuotton visit. I mean, why a bag of Valentino, or be seen Armani and John Galliano, if the clothes are worth more than your mortgage and car should be combined. I have seen women driving Toyotas in 1980 and held a bag of channel, or even small children in the city contribute Louis. I do not use a lot of wasted money on clothes, something that usually my mother because she was a shopaholic, but honestly, if I purchase was really bad, I j ust use detergent, I do not want to wear something that’s false, but then I’d just look stupid.

I don’t know, but I know what you mean..Maybe these women want to “show off”..or maybe they don’t know that the purses are knockoffs!!

you do sound like a *** hole don’t worry about other people if that’s all they can afford then let it be is not like you are buying it … grow up … and go with your mom….

Because they cannot afford the real ones plain and simple.

well. you do sound like an as.shole. so what if people can’t afford the ‘real kind’ and buy knock off? who cares, only self centered people like you selves would even notice that. People want to have cute things and if they can’t afford them, they get the knock off. sorry i’d rather buy food then spend $120,000 on a purse that will go out of style in like a week.

People who don’t have a lot of money usually don’t have to pay rent (they live with family, friends, move around, etc.), therefore they have more money to spend on clothes, cars, etc… It’s ridiculous, but you figure it out getting to know some of the people who do this.

For the same reason people buy the “real” ones: to try to convince strangers that they’re wealthy.

Umm, maybe they just like the way the bag looks? I am perfectly happy with my Wal-Mart bag, and Wal-Mart clothes too. But if I saw a “fake” bag and liked the way it was made, why not? When I wear my Wal-Mart clothes , is it OK with you if I drive my 30K car and wear my 1/2 caret perfect diamond earrings in platinum settings on the way home to my 200K house? Some people chose to spend money on what matters to them, and it may not be clothes, so don’t be so quick to judge.

Well, aren’t you all high and mighty? Has it ever occurred to you that perhaps someone likes their older car? Or dosen’t place ALL material things so high on their list of priorities? Just because someone has clothes that you think are cheap, or wal mart, doesn’t mean they don’t have money, perhaps they spend their money on the things THEY want, not the things others THINK they should have. I have the money to have a Gucci/LV, Prada, whatever, and yet I walk around with a cheap Target bag I got on clearance. A fool and his money are soon parted. Who are you to judge where I spend my money? I have friends that are millionairs, and yet they drive older cars, and live in modest homes. Just because you have money, doesn’t mean you have to spend/flaunt it. Has it occured to you that one of the reasons people have as much money as they do is because they aren’t frivolus with it? Throwing it away on new cars, bigger homes, fancy clothes, and designer handbags.

My husband recently purchased a diamond bracelet for me for out 10th anniversary. The manager of the jewelry store was so careful to not let him have more than one bracelet at a time, and kept steering him to the cheaper ones..half carot, one carot, what about earings?? …
THEN he ran my husbands credit, and saw how much money he makes.
Now he unlocked the case and left it open, put two and three 5 carot and up bracelets on my wrist and encouraged us to walk outside into the sunlight to see which we liked best. Why? To quote him “I’ve seen what you make, you could easily take any of these, I know you aren’t going anywhere.” He was embarrased that he had judged us by our clothes/my purse, our shoes. FYI, I got the 5 carot, about $6,000 not because we couldn’t afford more, but because it looked the best on my wrist. Just because my Nike shoes aren’t brand new, or my jeans are last years, or my purse is from Target, shouldn’t matter. Frankly, I don’t want to advertise my financial status, lest it make me a target for theives, muggers, car jackers. I find it amusing when I see teens driving brand new cars, carying their Gucci purses, wearing their designer clothes, and sunglasses, talking on their fancy cell phones, about their cr*ppy job at the mall, isn’t that just as much hypocritical?? They aren’t rich, their parents are. And to turn the mirror on you, if you’re in wal mart, who are you to judge? What do you drive? Ever have a favorite pair of shoes, or jeans, that were old and tattered, but so comfy you couldn’t part with them?
Judge not, lest ye be judged.

well if i had a rich mom, AND were a snotty nosed spoiled brat I would wear designer everything. But even if I were rich, I wouldn’t spend 600+ for a purse just because it has a designer name on it. I have some designer items, but I didn’t pay alot for them. I don’t go in wal-mart for clothes but i will buy something if it catches my eye.
